Meet the Maker

Born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, owner, and candle maker Karina Melendez is no stranger to hard work and dedication in following her passion. The idea of making candles came to her after noticing a persistent allergic eye reaction her Maltese had every time a certain store-bought candle was being lit in her home. In her endless pursuit to find a candle she loved and also one that would alleviate her dog’s allergy, she realized that she needed to create her own unique, eco-friendly, family-friendly, and pet-friendly candle. This was the moment Karina discovered her passion for candle making.

Karina creates unique and beautiful candles, made of 100% soy wax, using only nontoxic and phthalate-free fragrances. Each candle is carefully hand-poured and hand-crafted.
